Delivering the climate change challenge through planning and development’ took place on 21 February 2006. Over 50 delegates from a range of housing, planning and development backgrounds came together to consider ways in which barriers to more
widespread use of sustainable energy best practice in housing could be overcome, and discuss the way in which adaptation to a changing climate should be built into all new building decision making processes in the region.
The event was Chaired by Martin Willey (FRTPI, FCIS) of YTP – Strategic Regeneration and Partnership Consultants, and hosted by RENEW North Staffs – one of two government funded Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder Areas within the West Midlands.
